Another great opportunity for CWA members to learn about a topic of significance.
In partnership with the CSIRO, CWA in Tasmania held an event in Hobart where
seven scientists shared their knowledge about kelp. Members learnt about the effects of climate change and the work CSIRO scientists are doing to restore the Giant Kelp forests around Tasmania. We also learnt about the products containing kelp and algae and the many varieties of kelp.
Members came away with a greater understanding of kelp and the impact of its decline. A fascinating presentation!
