The activities of the CWA are far ranging in both geography and style – we host seniors’ Christmas dinners on the West Coast, feed firefighters in the central Highlands, train as first responders on the East Coast, make breast cancer cushions in the north, teach preserving in the south … and that is just a taste of what we do.
We also fund-raise at a branch and Association level and have valuable partners in many of our projects who bring resources of their own to our work.
Importantly we also have our community – people like you who see value in the work that we do and support us through either financial donation or goods or services. Every little bit helps – to rebuild communities after disaster, to offer a rural scholarship, to maintain our holiday home and the opportunity it offers low income families, to help a school breakfast club … our list is long!
To make a financial donation or to discuss possible sponsorship or leaving a legacy please contact us
We also accept material donations, particularly in support of our baby bundles that go to new mothers across the state, including demand for new born disposable nappies, grow suits (000, 00), baby wipes, baby moisturiser – Craft materials such as wool and material – and personal hygiene items for homeless families and teens in refuges – if you have something that you think we might find useful please email us directly
From time to time we have special needs that we will advertise here.
