Members and branches of CWA in Tas are served by a state Executive Committee democratically elected at each year’s annual general meeting in September.

This team of volunteers is responsible for the day-to-day business and management of the organisation. Nominations for Executive Committee positions are invited via email and print to be viewed at each branch across the state ahead of each AGM.

The roles on our committee are outlined below, if you would like to get in touch with any relevant person on our committee please get in touch.

  • There are 12 roles on our Executive Committee these roles are; President, 2 Vice Presidents (a shared role), State Secretary, Treasurer, International Officer, Editor for ‘News & Views’, Southern Group President, Northern Group President, North-West Group President, Committee Chair for the Handcraft and Home Industries, and the Immediate Past President.

Meeting Schedule

The Executive Committee meets four times a year at various locations around the state. Requests and reports to be considered at an Executive Committee meeting should be presented to the State Office by the dates shown below by email to admin@cwaintasmania.com.au. A brief discussion paper must be included with each request.
